Privacy Policy

AT A GLANCE
We collect the information needed to arrange purchases in Hong Kong, verify bank transfer or FPS payments and deliver orders internationally. We use Wix to run the Website. For privacy enquiries and requests, contact tickcare852@gmail.com.

1. About this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how TickCare (Hong Kong) Limited ("TickCare", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses, shares, stores and protects personal data in connection with www.tickcare852.com (the "Website") and our related services.

TickCare operates a Hong Kong-based purchasing and procurement service. We assist retail and wholesale customers in obtaining products in Hong Kong and arranging international delivery to destinations requested by customers, subject to our Terms of Service and applicable requirements.

This policy applies to website visitors, customers, recipients, account holders, newsletter subscribers and individuals who contact us. It is intended to explain our actual data practices, not to remove rights provided by applicable law.

2. Who Controls Your Personal Data

TickCare (Hong Kong) Limited is the organisation responsible for deciding why and how personal data is used for the activities described in this policy (the "data controller" or "data user", as applicable).

Website: https://www.tickcare852.com

Privacy and customer service contact: tickcare852@gmail.com

We seek to comply with the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) and, where our activities fall within their scope, relevant overseas data protection laws, including the UK GDPR and EU GDPR.

3. Personal Data We Collect

Depending on your interaction with us, we may collect the following information:

  • Contact and delivery details: name, email address, phone number, billing address, delivery address and recipient contact information.

  • Account information: member profile details and account preferences where you create or maintain a Wix website account.

  • Orders and fulfilment: products ordered, order reference, prices, shipping destination, delivery instructions, courier details, tracking numbers, order status, return and refund enquiries.

  • Bank payment information: transfer reference, payment date, amount, payer or remitter details shown on a transfer confirmation, and any evidence of payment that you choose to provide. For refunds, we may request the relevant bank account or FPS details.

  • Communications: emails, website contact form submissions, Wix Chat or other available customer support messages, and associated enquiry records.

  • Website and technical information: IP address, browser and device type, session and account identifiers, approximate location derived from technical data, cookie preferences and site activity where relevant technologies are enabled.

  • Marketing preferences: newsletter subscription status, consent records, unsubscribe requests and other preferences.

We do not require payment card details to process orders using our stated UK bank transfer or Hong Kong FPS payment methods. We do not ask customers to provide medical records to place ordinary orders. Please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive health, identity or financial information when contacting us.

If you voluntarily disclose sensitive information in a customer service enquiry, we will use it only as reasonably necessary to handle the enquiry and in accordance with applicable law.

4. Where the Information Comes From

We collect information directly from you when you browse the Website, submit an enquiry, create an account, subscribe to communications, place an order, make a payment or request support.

We may also receive information generated by our Website and its service providers, and limited order-related information from banks, delivery partners, fulfilment partners or individuals who order products for another recipient.

If you provide personal data about another person, including a delivery recipient, you must have an appropriate basis for providing it and should direct that person to this policy where practicable.

5. Why We Use Personal Data

We use personal data for the following purposes:

  • To process enquiries, retail and wholesale purchases and requests for Hong Kong procurement.

  • To identify and verify UK bank transfer or Hong Kong FPS payments, send confirmations, issue invoices and reconcile records.

  • To obtain products, arrange packaging and international shipping, communicate with carriers, and handle delivery and customs-related enquiries.

  • To manage website accounts, provide customer support, respond to complaints, and administer cancellations, returns and refunds.

  • To maintain website operations, security and fraud prevention, investigate misuse, and improve customer experience.

  • To send product updates, promotions and newsletters only where we are permitted to do so and in accordance with your marketing preferences.

  • To maintain accounting, transaction and compliance records and respond to valid legal requests.

Where the UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, we rely on a lawful basis appropriate to the purpose: performance of a contract (orders and delivery), compliance with a legal obligation (relevant records and lawful requests), legitimate interests (for example, proportionate security and fraud prevention), or consent (such as marketing and non-essential cookies where consent is required). We assess the applicable lawful basis for each processing activity, rather than treating one basis as applicable to everything.

6. Information You Must Provide

Providing personal data is generally voluntary. However, certain details, such as a customer name, valid delivery address and contact information, are necessary to fulfil an order. Payment reference information may be necessary to verify a transfer, and bank or FPS details may be needed to complete an agreed refund.

If required details are not supplied, we may be unable to complete a purchase, arrange delivery, administer a refund or respond fully to a request. Newsletter registration and other optional marketing information are not required to make a purchase.

7. UK Bank Transfer and Hong Kong FPS

TickCare accepts payment by UK bank transfer in GBP or by the Hong Kong Faster Payment System (FPS) in HKD, as arranged with the customer. Payments are made through the relevant bank or FPS system outside the Website rather than by entering credit or debit card details into an online card payment form.

We may process transaction references and bank transfer confirmation information to match payments with orders. Banks and payment-system operators also process financial data under their own applicable policies and legal responsibilities.

Please use only payment instructions confirmed by TickCare through its official communications. Do not email us bank passwords, online banking login credentials, card security codes or similar secrets.

8. Marketing and Communications Preferences

We may invite customers to subscribe to TickCare news, products, restocking announcements and promotional offers by email or other customer-selected channels. We will use personal data for direct marketing only after giving the required notice and obtaining the consent or other permission required by the applicable law.

You can opt out of direct marketing without charge by using an unsubscribe facility in a marketing message, where available, or emailing tickcare852@gmail.com. We will respect valid requests to stop direct marketing.

Necessary order and service messages - including payment queries, order confirmations, shipping updates and safety-related product notices - are not marketing messages and may still be sent when needed.

9. Cookies, Analytics and Similar Technologies

The Website uses technologies, including cookies, that support essential functions such as security, account sessions, shopping carts and checkout. Such technologies may collect technical identifiers or limited usage information.

Additional functionality, preference, analytics or marketing technologies may be used where enabled on the Website. Where consent is required, we will seek it before setting or reading non-essential cookies or similar technologies.

You can manage cookie choices through any cookie preference controls offered on the Website and through your browser settings. Disabling essential technologies may affect some features. For information about particular cookies or third-party tools, please refer to the Website cookie notice or contact us.

This section does not mean that every possible analytics or advertising service is active on the Website. Details should be reviewed when our technical configuration changes.

10. When We Share Personal Data

We may share the minimum personal data reasonably needed for a stated purpose with these categories of recipients, where relevant:

  • Wix and website service providers supporting hosting, online stores, member accounts, customer messages and related functions.

  • Banks and financial service providers involved in bank transfers, FPS payment reconciliation and refunds.

  • Suppliers, procurement agents and fulfilment partners where details are necessary to obtain or deliver your order.

  • Postal operators, courier services, freight partners, customs brokers and destination delivery agents.

  • Professional advisers, accountants, insurers and technical service providers acting for legitimate business or legal purposes.

  • Regulators, customs authorities, law enforcement agencies or other parties where disclosure is required or permitted by law.

We do not disclose customer information to unrelated parties for their independent direct marketing without the notice and consent required by applicable law. Some service providers act on our instructions; banks and couriers may also have their own legal obligations and privacy practices.

11. International Data Processing and Transfers

TickCare is a Hong Kong company serving customers internationally. Personal data may therefore be processed or accessed in Hong Kong, the destination country, and locations used by Wix, banking institutions, courier networks and other relevant service providers.

Data protection rules differ between countries. Where the UK GDPR, EU GDPR or another applicable law requires a permitted transfer mechanism or safeguards, we will take the steps required for the relevant transfer. You can contact us for information about the safeguards applicable to your data.

12. How Long We Keep Information

We keep information for no longer than reasonably necessary for its purpose, taking account of the following criteria:

  • Order, payment, shipping and refund records: while needed to fulfil orders, handle disputes, meet accounting and tax obligations, or comply with applicable retention requirements.

  • Customer account information: while the account remains active, followed by any justified retention for unresolved orders, legal duties or disputes.

  • Customer enquiries and support messages: while needed to respond, resolve issues and maintain a proportionate record of the interaction.

  • Marketing preferences and consent records: until no longer needed for compliant marketing and suppression of unwanted messages, subject to applicable obligations.

  • Technical and security records: for periods reasonably necessary to operate, protect and investigate the Website.

When information is no longer required, we will take appropriate steps to delete, anonymise or securely dispose of it, subject to legal exceptions.

13. How We Protect Personal Data

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorised access, accidental loss, misuse and disclosure. These may include managed website security features, restricted administrative access and appropriate precautions with service providers.

No internet transmission or storage method is completely risk-free. If you suspect an account or payment-related communication is fraudulent, please contact us using the official email in this policy.

14. Your Rights and Requests

Under the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, eligible individuals may request access to and correction of their personal data, subject to legal requirements and permitted exceptions.

Where the UK GDPR, EU GDPR or other relevant laws apply, you may also have rights to request erasure, restrict processing, object to certain uses of data, obtain data portability, withdraw consent and complain to a competent supervisory authority. These rights depend on the applicable law and circumstances; they are not all absolute.

You have the right to object to direct marketing and to withdraw marketing consent at any time. Marketing opt-outs are free of charge.

To make a request, email tickcare852@gmail.com with enough information to help us identify your account and the information concerned. We may request reasonable verification before disclosure or changes. We will respond within the time limits required by applicable law; any legally permitted fee for a formal access request will be explained in advance.

If you believe we have mishandled your personal data, you may contact us first. Where applicable, you may also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data in Hong Kong, the UK Information Commissioner's Office, or the relevant EU/EEA supervisory authority.

15. Website Members and Account Settings

Where member features are enabled, registered customers may be able to review their orders and manage available account or address details within the Website. Exact options depend on the member features displayed on the Website at the time.

For corrections, copies of information, account closure or deletion requests that cannot be completed using the Website features, please contact tickcare852@gmail.com. Account closure does not automatically remove order and financial records that must be kept for lawful purposes.

16. Children and Other Recipients

Our online purchasing service is intended for adults and persons legally able to place orders. We do not intentionally target children with our marketing or request children to provide personal data directly.

If a purchaser orders a product to be delivered to another person, including a family member, we will use the recipient details only as reasonably necessary to arrange and support delivery and related enquiries.

17. Third-Party Links and Services

The Website may contain links to independent websites, social media services, courier tracking pages or other external services. When you leave our Website or interact directly with a third party, that party may collect personal data under its own privacy notice. We encourage you to review the relevant notice.

18. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our services, Website functionality, business practices or applicable legal requirements. The current version will be published at https://www.tickcare852.com/privacy-policy.

Where the law requires separate notice or new consent for a material change in how we use personal data, we will provide it before implementing the relevant change.
